  • We always have a great time at SPAC, it’s our favorite place for the family to attend a concert together. The family zone is great and the lawn is expansive making it easy to get away from the crowds as needed. Sound varies widely so move around a bit if it doesn’t sound great where you setup at first.
  • We’ve had good experiences here with the kids a few years in a row. They have had food trucks in the back cranking out fantastic food and you can sit on the sloped lawn in the back and soak in amazing views of Philly while listening to the music. Parking can be a little confusing and the neighborhood is a little sketch. Don’t wander beyond the park itself in my opinion.
  • Very strict venue with limited tailgating (if any) and somewhat rude staff. They go so far as to setup a satellite police station on-site. Takes forever to get in and out of the venue if you don’t time it well and leave early. Sound inside the venue is meh. Merriweather is the better option in the area for a show with kids!
  • Tons of family friendly things tied into Wilco’s music and arts festival and every year has a lot of events that kids can participate in from nature walks to plays to workshops. There are children-specific programs and almost everything is kid friendly.
  • moe.down has featured a “kid’s tent” and kid activities every year since it’s inception. The band and crew have kids ranging in ages from tiny to young adults and they know their fans do too. There is a quiet family area for camping and planned activities all weekend long.
  • Kids under twelve can attend this festival for FREE. Small enough that you feel safe with your little ones roaming a bit and features planned kids activities all weekend long. This is a great festival for you and the family to attend if interested!
